Antarctic snow cliffs with sun rays

Extensive mountain ranges cover the Antarctica region. Large snow cliffs along the water’s edge are typical as they slope toward the ocean. As you can see from this photograph, the cliffs look relatively small but don’t be fooled. The ice and snow cliffs are hundreds of feet high.

The lighting is inspiring, with the blowing snow creating an atmospheric fog-like mist. The sun is making a sunbeam, lighting up the edge of the icy cliff in Antarctica.
