Structure in Light
Boston doesn’t shout at night—it hums. The skyline isn’t about sheer height or spectacle. It’s about balance. A layered composition of towers and reflections, each lit with intention. When I took this shot, I wasn’t after the glow—I was looking for the geometry it revealed.
The timing mattered. Blue hour was fading, and the sky still held enough weight to anchor the scene without swallowing the lights. The buildings weren’t just lit—they were defined. Each one part of a larger rhythm. The river didn’t just reflect—it repeated.
As a fine art print, this piece offers structure without rigidity. It’s clean, but not cold. And printed large, the detail opens up—tiny windows, ambient glows, light catching corners you don’t notice at first. It’s a city holding its shape in the dark.
